Into the Light Band has been recording again over the last two months. Four (4) new songs have been tracked and are into the early mixing stages. A new CD should be out sometime in late 2009. The new song works are exciting and should leave listeners pleased. Stay tuned!

Into the Light band has begun recording again for their 3rd CD Album. It has been just over two years since the first CD "Peace be with You" was released. The new material continues to be Spirit-Filled with and will enhance the groups song catalog. Watch for the new songs to be out later this year!!!

Valparaiso’s "Into the Light" band, in conjunction with the choir from their home church, First Presbyterian, produced a CD of Christmas music called "Following the Star." All profits from CD sales will go to the Christian Food Pantry.
RG Skadberg conducted the interview on the regularly scheduled show "What's Happening Valpo?" Members were interviewed with three (3) cuts from the CD were aired live on the program. The CD features six songs. The title track is a brand new composition. "Homemade Love" and "Fill my Heart," from the band’s first CD, were rerecorded with the choir. The CD also features two holiday instrumentals and is rounded out by the choir singing a traditional version of "Silent Night."

Christmas CD to Benefit Christian Food Pantry

Valparaiso’s "Into the Light" band, in conjunction with the choir from their home church, First Presbyterian, produced a CD of Christmas music called "Following the Star." All profits from CD sales will go to the Christian Food Pantry.
"Christmas is a time when more people think about giving," said Ken Koch, bass player for the band. "The CD is an opportunity to give and help our community."
Dean Stolpe sings, plays reeds, and percussion for the band. "The CD is a great gift or a stocking stuffer, and all the money goes to a great cause."
The CD features six songs. The title track is a brand new composition. "Homemade Love" and "Fill my Heart," from the band’s first CD, were rerecorded with the choir. The CD also features two holiday instrumentals and is rounded out by the choir singing a traditional version of "Silent Night."
The CD is $10 and will be available on December 5. Look for copies at First Presbyterian Church and Stolpe Real Estate.

The "Into the Light" Band was interviewed on Tuesday live on Radio Station WVLP 98.5 by talk show host RG Skadberg. The topic covered the upcoming Prayz Daze Christian Music Festival coming up on August 11th, 2007.

That's right later this month Into the Light will be filming their new Music Video with LIVE and Worship footage. Watch for this to be posted on our website soon!!!!! JESUS LOVES YOU
