We all stumble, we all fall away. We refuse to surrender to His will everyday.
But there's forgiveness in love divine, yeh He forgives yours and He'll forgive mine.
We come in search of the Messiah, each and every one of us, everyone and all.
Somethin' like my spirit is on fire. I feel the burnin' deep in my soul!
When I was in the darkness, in the depths of despair, I was ready to give up the fight.
I didn't know if I could hold on long enough to get through the night.
We all falter most everyday, but if we will humbly pray, there is mercy in love divine,
And with the dawn His light's gonna shine.
We come in search of the Messiah...
When I was persuaded by the Prince of Peace to show His love to everyone,
I couldn't hold back the flood of tears for the sinful things I had done.
Hard as I try I still miss the mark, but I can't help sing the song in my heart,
For there is joy in love divine, yet another generation just waitin' for a sign.
